Members of the Stromsburg Chamber Board have committed to creating the first Strategic Plan for the Chamber.  This is one of the first steps in evaluating and reorganizing the Chamber's mission, purpose and goals.  The living document will provide a checks and balances to major desicion making and a roadmap to better supporting our businesses and community.  Additionally, it will enable the Chamber to apply for grant funds for special projects.

Updates will be provided at Chamber meetings as progress is made.

Once completed and approved by the Board of Directors, the Strategic Plan will be presented to Chamber Members and made available for public view on the new website.

The Stromsburg Chamber Board has been busy despite our pandemic pause.   We've asked the questions, done the research and attended the webinars.  Our search for a system to simplify and streamline our record keeping has led us to Wild Apricot.  Through this online membership management software program, the Stromsburg Chamber's Members will be able to pay dues online, check the status of their membership, update their business description and more.  An element of this software includes a new website, making this package very affordable, as it's cost replaces the annual cost of maintaining the previous website alone.  Members will enjoy the ability to log in and access meeting minutes, upcoming event plans, Chamber news and forum discussions, among other things.  Members of the Chamber voted to approve this investment at the January 20 meeting held at the Library.

The address to this new site is StromsburgChamber.org.  The StromsburgChamber.com address will direct people to the new site for a while before the .com domain is abandoned.  Members can expect to see this new site roll out some time in March, just in time to keep everyone in the loop for 2021 community events.
