THe Chamber is building a new event storage facility! - Donation DriveThe Stromsburg Chamber's current fundraising project is to build a new, larger storage facility!Stromsburg has outgrown the current storage garage on 4th Street and lost considerable storage space after the bandstand renovation. A committee was formed to look at options to remedy the problem. It was decided that a new storage building on the Chamber- owned lot on far East 4th Street would be the best solution. Some repairs are being made to the current garage then it will be listed for sale.

Checks made out to the Polk Co. Foundation will be checked in by the Stromsburg Chamber's Treasurer then forwarded to the Polk Co. Foundation to be processed and the funds returned.

Previous Goals Reached The great community of Stromsburg recently reached it's goal to renovate the sign at the intersection of Hwy 81 and Hwy 92. More than enough was raised to match the investment made by the CIty of Stromsburg . The sign was completed in August of 2021. Bright LED lights were used in a way that reflects the original neon lighting of the sign. |
