Working out of the Coldwell Banker NHS RE office in York, we have 11+ years of experience helping Nebraska clients buy and sell real estate. Additionally, we are both certified property managers working under the NHS Commercial Real Estate brokerage and currently manage properties for private investors. Michael continues to work full time as a real estate professional (residential and commercial), while Tammie is transitioning into working with select clients while also pursuing additional work opportunities within the Stromsburg community.

Tammie and I licensed in 2012 with 3 primary objectives: Work together on a daily basis; provide honest and skilled services in a profession not always known for that; and teach our 8 children what hard work looks like by building a business from nothing. We began in the Omaha market, and over the years our clients have asked us to help them in markets from Omaha to Kearney; Howells to Diller; and many places in between. With the last of our children graduated from High School, it was time to downsize our home and right size our lives. Since our work frequently has us driving to various locations between Grand Island and Omaha, we looked for a community that we felt like we fit in. We selected Stromsburg after feeling very comfortable with our York office colleagues, finding a perfect home that provided everything we wanted in a home, and finding a grocery store that is second to none for a small community.

We have closed more that 50 million in volume over the last 11+ years and have developed a particular talent in working with clients from all price ranges and locations far and wide. Moving to Stromsburg has also been a strategic decision to focus our lives more on a community and area, rather than always spreading our efforts all over Nebraska.

Favorite Stromsburg Memory
Since first meeting the young employees at the Economy Market grocery store the first day we visited, we've felt right at home. Each store, activity, and interaction has been nothing but all that we hoped it would be. Our neighbors are warm and welcoming; every invitation to church or other activities is kind and supportive; and there is a nearly universal commitment to helping the community continue to thrive in an age when many small communities struggle. We've helped clients buy and sell all over eastern Nebraska, and no small community we have worked in is as nice and thriving as Stromsburg.

The Stromsburg Chamber Board is made up of volunteers. They represent area businessees or hold Family Memberships and meet monthly. Board members may serve two consecutive, three year terms. Additional terms may be served following one year or more away from the board.  If interested in how you may support the Stromsburg Chamber as a board member, committee member or otherwise please contact a board member or join a chamber meeting, typically held the third Thursday at noon, most months of the year.  Follow our Facebook page for updates and meeting information.  Meeting and event details may also be found on our website calendar or in the Polk Co.
